What do I wear with Coclico Urbano?

Each Wednesday we’ll answer the on-going question: “What do I wear with these?”  It’s a question we get quite often here at the shop and we love giving suggestions when helping our customers. This week we feature the Coclico Urbano.

What to wear with: Coclico Urbano

Fall is just around the corner.  Why not ease into it with this cute bootie from Coclico. They have the perfect heel and are absolutely luxurious in oiled suede. Pair them with jeans and a draped plaid top, or dress them up with a printed dress.  How about a chambray shirt and some fitted chinos? They are very casual cool and have an attitude like “I may be laid back and comfy, but I look damn good doing it!”

Featured re-souL items:
> Coclico suede lace-up boot in oiled suede, made in Spain.
> Jo Handbags “Zoey” black canvas with brown leather pocket and brass chain.

What do I wear with: MOMA 75301 Wingtip Oxford?

Each Wednesday we’ll answer the on-going question: “What do I wear with these?”  It’s a question we get quite often here at the shop and we love giving suggestions when helping our customers. This week we feature the MOMA 75301.

What do I wear with: Moma 75301 Wingtip?
This week’s inspiration for  “What do I Wear Wednesday” comes from MOMA. Seattle is having one of the best summer seasons in recent memory. But it is August and the shop is getting ready for fall (though we would rather stick with the sunshine). Sometimes transitioning your wardrobe from summer into fall can be tricky but it really doesn’t have to be. These wingtip oxfords are a great choice for when it’s too hot outside for boots and when sandals are not an appropriate choice for work attire. The emerald color is deep and rich and will compliment your core clothing basics of grey, brown and navy.  Wear them casually with jeans and a breton top, or with a silk shirt and trousers. You can also wear them with a flirty dress and blazer for a boy-meets-girl look. Now we ask, are you ready to think about Fall?

Mondays, Maggie Muses: The Art of Layers

Hi, I’m Maggie. My husband (Legh) and I own re-souL.   I like to “muse” about things that inspire me.  Especially on Mondays.

Maybe it’s our Seattle climate, but it seems we tend to like our layers in clothing.  It may not seem like a big thing, but here in the winter it could be relatively mild and sunny one day, damp and foggy the next. Or better yet, if the temperature drops, the infamous drizzle could turn into snowflakes.  And that’s just in one day. But seriously, it’s no wonder we like our layers. We have to be prepared for the weather to change in a blink of an eye.  So how do you layer without looking like a schlepp? Here are some inspiring pictures of some lovely ladies that know how to do layering with style.

I have no idea who they are, but don’t they look great? No wonder they’re getting pinned on Pinterest.  Follow my Style: Ladies board for more inspiring outfits.
