Spring Trend 2015 – Pale Neutrals

Hello everybody! Today we are talking about neutrals. I know, we covered this fashion color trend before in the past, but this season pale neutrals seem to be more important in ready-to-wear fashion than ever before. We like shades of sand, wheat and pearl gray.

Spring and Summer are all about light pale colors such as blush, peach, nude, beige and silver. They are easy to wear if you think of them as an alternative to your winter black or brown. Neutral shoes look great with denim, pastel colors, shades of khaki and camel as well as white.

Mondays, Maggie Muses: Color Mood, Neutrals + Metallics

Maybe it’s because I have been working on our SS15 collection of re-souL shoes,  but I have been feeling neutrals and metallics lately for one of my color palettes. I love basic black, gray, buff and white with  gold, silver or copper metallics. Clean and simple with just a hint of bling. Color combinations that will compliment most everything for spring and summer wardrobes.

What do you think? Are you feeling them too? Happy Monday and hope you have a great week!

Spring Color Story: The New Neutrals

re-souL spring color story : new neutrals

The New Neutrals

As many of you know Spring 2012 is all about color!  There is no shortage of yellows, oranges, reds, greens and blues.  Well, pretty much any color you can think of,  you will have your pick of bright hues for spring.  But that said, there is also a very strong trend towards pastels and nudes; lavender, peach, pale pink and beige.  So many choices!

So how do you make the most out of your wardrobe without breaking the bank? The “New Neutrals” are the perfect answer to accessorizing your wardrobe dilemmas.  First of all, they are an easy transition from your winter clothing into spring.  Consider wearing caramel booties (MOMA’s 48205 in Olmo) with your denim and light sweaters or a feminine yellow top.  How about driftwood sandals with lavender, soft pink or peach dresses? Putty is the perfect shade to wear blush,  sandstone and white.  Burnt copper freshens up shades of coral and orange and livens up chocolate and tan.

Whatever your style is, a neutral shade is a must for complementing your spring/summer wardrobe. You can find the featured shoes at resouL.com.
