Early Fall Arrivals: Chelsea Boots 3 Ways

Hello, it’s been a while since we posted anything on the blog. We have been receiving a few early Fall arrivals. So in the spirit of getting ready for the change of seasons, we thought we would show you how we would wear our favorite boot, the Chelsea Boot! A classic style that can be worn with virtually everything. Versatile and comfortable!

A big trend for this season is animal prints. These Officine Creative boots would look great with a pair of kick flare jeans and a long cheetah/leopard print vest.

Another fun Fall trend is mixing plaids and checks together. These Fiorentini and Baker boots are perfect for this casual look. Wear them with your favorite denim and plaid shirt.

A leather dress is a must for the dressier side of creative work attire. Wear these fancy MOMA boots with tights and an oversized sweater to top off the look.

WTWW: How to Wear Spring Chelsea Boots

This post is an update to a previous post we did on Chelsea boots a little over a year ago. After all, they are still an easy ankle boot to wear going into the early spring season. We just got a new one in the shop from P.Monjo in a beautiful shade of grey with a slight green cast. They are gorgeous! So we thought we would take another look at this classic style and see how we would wear them today.

These boots will up your game when you pair them with your favorite “athleisure” pants: the legging. You can be comfy in your oversized sweater and stretchy pants and still look pulled together. Yay for comfort+style.

Not quite warm enough yet to wear sandals, but you can wear a Chelsea boot with cropped boyfriend style jeans. Pull on a tunic top or dress with a classic trench and you are good to go! Easy, breezy, beautiful, well you know what I mean.

Who says ankle boots are only for pants? Not us! We think you can¬†rock them with¬†dress or a skirt too. It’s all about proportions. We like the way they look with the longer hemlines. Also, way easier on your tootsies than stilettos.

Shoe Trend: Chelsea Boots For Women

Chelsea boots, also known as Jodhpur boots¬†or Paddock boots are close-fitting, ankle-high boots. The most notable features are the elastic side panel and a tab on the back of the boot, making it simple to take on and off with ease. The design’s history dates back to the Victorian era, when it was worn by both men and women.

In the 1950s and ’60s, Chelsea boots became popular in Great Britain. Perhaps because of their association with the King’s Road set of “Swinging London”.¬†¬†Worn by everyone from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones to Jean Shrimpton¬†might¬†explain how the name Chelsea became attached to the boot.

A popular trend this season for women, we thought it would be fun to show you 3 different ways to wear this little iconic boot.

Chelsea Boots with Leggings

Who doesn’t like to wear leggings? Comfortable and cozy with an oversized sweater and a wool jacket the boots give your outfit a clean¬†polished look. Ditch¬†the Uggs ladies!

Chelsea Boots with Skirt

If you like wearing skirts or dresses, you can easily wear a Chelsea style because of the close fit to the ankle. Wear coordinated tights to lengthen your legs visually. Layer some socks with your tights for a more casual look. Plus, they’ll keep your tootsies warm on chillier days.

Chelsea Boots with Skinny Jeans

For a look with a little more edge, try wearing a style with a higher heel. This style of the Chelsea boot works well with skinny jeans as well as dresses and skirts. Rock on girl!
