We in the Pacific Northwest have always liked our clogs. It is an all-season item that can be worn in so many ways, pants, skirts, dresses, etc. With the forecast calling for warmer days this September, we thought we would show you how to style our re-souL “Tilda” clog this season.
Wide leg trousers are all the rage this season. We like to wear clogs with these pants because they balance out the look of the flared leg. You can still look professional wearing clogs if you keep your pieces tailored and when the weather becomes a bit cooler, you could add a blazer to to ward off the chill.
This may seem obvious to most, but a midi skirt just calls for the weight of a clog to finish and anchor the fullness of the skirt. In the cooler months, add patterned tights and a sweater to keep you warm.
Jumpsuits, rompers and culottes look great with clogs. Again it is all about balancing the fullness of your skirt or pant legs. This jumpsuit would look great with a long cardigan or coat in the Fall too.
So give a little height to your stature and add some flair to your basics with the shoe of the year – the clog!
