Mondays, Maggie Muses: Fashion and David Bowie

Hi, I’m Maggie. My husband (Legh) and I own re-souL. I like to “muse” about things that inspire me. Especially on Mondays.

Maybe it’s only me who has been noticing this, but has everyone gone David Bowie crazy? Not that there is anything wrong with it of course. Maybe it’s the excitement of his new album coming out next month, but it seems that everything I lay my eyes on (fashion wise that is) has the distinct flavor of Ziggy Stardust. Or maybe it’s because I have been around long enough to recognize this fashion icon’s influences? Either way it’s all good.

  1. I can’t comment on how the fashion world works, but I think coming out of (what everyone thought was) retirement to suddenly announce a new album is leaving a lot of people shocked and absolutely ready to embrace what he has to offer this time around. He knows how to reinvent himself and, just as people were settling into the idea of him being a stay-at-home dad, he announced this.
